"Compfortable and well positioned"
A good luxury hotel which is superbly located. Convenient to major shopping area and 2 minutes from U Station. Efficient, possibly a bit clinical but I enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Reception staff genuinely welcoming.

"Modern, Classy, Well Located Hotel"
We spent three nights at this hotel in July of 2004. The hotel sits between two canals about a seven minute walk from the Alster Lakes. The hotel lobby is modern with light wood. There is a piano bar, small breakfast room and a terrace restaurant with outdoor space in good weather. There is also an "elegant" restaurant below the entry floor but it is closed for the summer (except for the breakfast buffet). We had a suite on the 6th floor overlooking the front of the hotel from the living room and down the canal to the Alster Lakes from the bedroom. The suite was fabulous with a full living room, dining room and guest bathroom in addition to a bedroom with kingsize bed, desk, spacious closets and a master bath with whirlpool, large shower stall with great water pressure, spacious closets and a separate door for the toilet area. There were two flat screen plasma TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The furnishings were very modern and everything was spotless. We got a weekend Internet rate which was not extremely cheap but was well worth the money for the location and for the quality of the hotel. The staff was very helpful with dinner suggestions and ideas for indoor attractions on one very wet day of the weekend. I would stay in this hotel every time I visit Hamburg.

"Excellent hotel"
I stayed in this hotel for a weekend break in May 2006 and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and it's obvious that customer service is a priority. We had a double room on the 7th floor with great views of the city. The room was clean, bright and spacious. Location is excellent, just a short walk to the Town Hall. I would definitely stay here again.
